Conectus supports healthy outcomes for infants, children and their families.

Conectus is an alliance of organisations within The School of Population Health. They all share an interest in improving aspects of health for infants, children and their families.

The individual organisations within Conectus provide a range of services, focussing primarily on the training, support and education of health professionals who work in the community. Conectus provides infrastructure, resources and administrative support for these organisations. In the future, Conectus expects to extend their partnerships within and outside of the faculty, building on and maintaining both academic and clinical relationships.

The Immunisation Advisory Centre provides immunisation advice to the public, information and training for health professionals and research into many aspects of vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases.

TAHA Well Pacific Mother and Infant Service provides support and services to health professionals who work with Pacific families to improve the health and wellbeing of Pacific mothers and infants during pregnancy and the first year of life.

Whakawhetu National SUDI Prevention for Māori is a national kaupapa Māori organisation dedicated to supporting whānau to nurture and protect their babies from the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infants (SUDI) through strengthening the services they engage with. They provide policy advice, disseminate evidence based information, deliver training and education and strengthen existing workforce development.
