Professor Winston Byblow

In our October 2017 issue: Professor Winston Byblow looks back on 21 years at the Tamaki Campus; and we read about Exercise Sciences newest staff member, Dr Lauren Samson. Social and Community Health's Dr Rodrigo Ramalho talks about his research and the Gounded Theory Network he developed. Our PhD student profile is on Jamie Stavert and his thesis on the process of pollination to investigate how human land use change alters biodiversity and consequently, ecosystem functioning at large. We highlight two events held recently at the Tamaki Campus the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to further raise the profile of New Zealand insects and the Myrtle Rust Symposium, as part of the MBIE funded NZ-US Joint Commission on Science and Technology Collaboration (or JCM).
