School of Population Health

The School of Population Health, the first of its kind in New Zealand, encompasses all aspects of primary healthcare, health services, and public health. It includes Audiology, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, General Practice & Primary Health Care, Health Systems, Pacific Health, Social & Community Health, and Te Kupenga Hauora Māori.

The School of Population Health

The School is unique to New Zealand, setting regional and international standards in population health research. It offers high-level postgraduate learning for clinicians and other health sector professionals. There are also flexible multimedia learning modes providing support and access for distance students.

Simulation Centre for Patient Safety

The Simulation Centre for Patient Safety, a division of the Department of Anaesthesiology, has a state-of-the-art hospital simulation facility at the Tāmaki Innovation Campus. The centre specialises in interdisciplinary teamwork in acute healthcare, and provides postgraduate courses in anaesthesia simulation and resuscitation skills.
